Infant, Primary and Secondary schools&nbsp; are located in two different villages: Ripa Teatina and Torrevecchia Teatina.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: #000000\">Schools are in a rural area near &nbsp;Chieti and Pescara, in the region of Abruzzo; they &nbsp;host &nbsp;&nbsp;immigrants from Albania and Romania that &nbsp;have integrated quite well in the local social context.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: #000000\">There is &nbsp;a large number of &nbsp;students &nbsp;&nbsp;with special educational needs, succesfully &nbsp;&nbsp;included in normal classes. Teachers take care of their needs offering assistance&nbsp; also &nbsp;for their homework; &nbsp;as a matter of fact our basic principles are: ensure equal opportunities for all pupils, enhance the resources of each one, overcome situations of difficulty and disadvantage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: #000000\">It is not unusual for some students to make a wrong use of technology and to be exposed to bullying &nbsp;so we think it is necessary to motivate them to acquire specific skills and competences to cope with an increasingly interconnected society.&nbsp; For this reason&nbsp; numerous projects are proposed by &nbsp;a highly qualified staff&nbsp; to enhance basic, digital and relational skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: #000000\">Teachers at our school have a great passion for their job and desire to develop students positive attitude toward education. They have experience in dealing with new technologies, new and inclusive methodologies, and in giving psychological and counseling support. Moreover teachers and students are actively involved in a variety of extra-curricular&nbsp; sports, cultural&nbsp; and environmental projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;color: #000000\">The school has an experienced team working on European projects,&nbsp; participated to 2 Comenius projects,&nbsp;&nbsp; coordinated&nbsp; one&nbsp; which has been &nbsp;awarded as a Star project.
