C. Martinelli, English language teacher with MA in second language acquisition with Italian, Middlebury College, Oakland, California.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000;font-size: 14pt\">Teachers from schools in Italy, Greece, Poland, Slovenia and Spain participated in the training meeting for the preparation of the activities in view of the meeting in Italy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000;font-size: 14pt\">The methodology to be applied is that of \u00abGamification\u00bb which does not mean making the lesson playful, but rather applying elements of video games in teaching to stimulate learning in all school subjects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;color: #000000;font-size: 14pt\">The objectives to be achieved are transformed into exciting challenges on the model of video games; the provision of progress badges and the visibility of the performances allow students to be motivated and increase the significance of the proposed task.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><br style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br style=\"font-weight: 400\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/presentation\/d\/e\/2PACX-1vTtPDlytsrTBYxTQwzv_FWJvRVCy5PJiBRS9XvddftPyyYWK7TED_IfxwMItI_Ku3mFSDnk-ibEEyPh\/embed?start=false&amp;loop=false&amp;delayms=3000\" width=\"1280\" height=\"749\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Online training meeting on the Gamification methodology by prof.
