Conversation Assistant
Conversation assistants are key members of the bilingual community. Their contributions to the lessons are relevant in that they spark the students’ motivation in ways that we, teachers, would never dream of. They are fresh, young, enthusiastic, and open to the new expierience of teaching in a foreign country. The excitement is mutual on the students’ side.

A good conversation assistant can make an excellent assistant teacher if he is committed and involved. He needs to establish a good rapport with the students, and the rest of the teaching staff. The Bilingual Coordinator has an important role in establishing these key links, these vital associations; from the professional to the personal. Involvement is paramount.
