Hello! I am Kim Arambulo
Hello! I am Kim Arambulo. I am from Quezon City, Philippines, and I am 22 years old. I am the youngest. I have two other siblings who are much older than me, but my family is still very close. I am a first time auxiliares de conversacion in Spain, and I’m currently teaching in CEIP Alfar, La Rambla. Before this, I studied Marketing in a university called Ateneo de Manila. Now, I am living in the city of Cordoba with my friends.
My country, the Philippines, is located in Southeast Asia. There are 113.9 million inhabitants, and there are 130 to 195 dialects, with Filipino and English as its official language. It was conquered by many countries such as Spain, America and Japan. The Philippines was a colony of Spain for 333 years which is why there are many similarities in way of life such as the food, the culture and the hospitality.
When I signed up for the program, I was a bit scared because I have never been to Spain and I am not fluent with the language. But when I arrived in CEIP Alfar, it felt like I became part of a family. Both the teachers and the children are very welcoming, and I am very blessed to be part of something special.

Hola! Me llamo Kim Arambulo. Soy de la ciudad de Quezon en Filipinas. Tengo 22 años. Soy la más joven. Tengo otros dos hermanos que son mucho mayores que yo, pero mi familia sigue estando muy unida. Soy auxiliar de conversación por primera vez en España, y actualmente estoy enseñando en el CEIP Alfar, La Rambla. Antes de esto, estudié Marketing en una universidad llamada Ateneo de Manila. Ahora vivo en la ciudad de Córdoba con mis amigos.
Mi país, Filipinas, está situado en el sudeste asiático. Tiene 113,9 millones de habitantes y hay 130 lenguas y 195 dialectos, con el filipino y el inglés como idioma oficial. Fue conquistada por muchos países como España, América y Japón. Filipinas fue colonia de España durante 333 años, por lo que hay muchas similitudes en la forma de vida, como la comida, la cultura y la hospitalidad.
Cuando me inscribí en el programa, estaba un poco asustada porque nunca he estado en España y no soy fluida con el idioma. Pero cuando llegué al CEIP Alfar, sentí que me convertí en parte de una familia. Tanto los profesores como los niños son muy acogedores, y estoy muy bendecida de ser parte de algo especial.
