Hi everyone!<\/div>\n

On this post I want to show you the incredible effort the children made to perform the last task of the year. As you know, our last unit was the \u201cToys\u201d where they learnt the name of different toys, review the colors and lastly, they were introduced to some grammar structure. All of that, for a 7 year old can sound tedious. However, if you put a little thought and try to link their interest and what they have to learn, it  is where magic comes. First, the children learnt a song about toys. Then, they chose the toys the wanted to draw in their \u201cSanta\u2019s sack\u201d and wrote a little description about it. Then, they perform an amazing task where they sang using the grammar and vocabulary they learnt and they decorated their hall really beautifully. <\/div>\n

En este post quiero ense\u00f1aros el gran esfuerzo que los ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as hicieron para representar la \u201cfinal task\u201d de la unidad. Como sab\u00e9is, la \u00faltima unidad que hemos visto trataba sobre los juguetes. En ella, hemos visto vocabulario de diferentes juguetes, revisado los colores y han sido introducidos a los primeros aspectos de gram\u00e1tica. Todo esto puede sonar tedioso para un ni\u00f1o\/a de 7 a\u00f1os. Sin embargo, si ponemos un poco de inter\u00e9s y enlazamos sus intereses y los contenidos de la unidad, es cuando ocurre la magia. Primero, los ni\u00f1os se aprendieron una peque\u00f1a canci\u00f3n sobre los juguetes. Despu\u00e9s, ellos eligieron los juguetes que quer\u00edan dibujar en el saco de Santa y escribieron una peque\u00f1a descripci\u00f3n. M\u00e1s tarde, representaron dicha canci\u00f3n utilizando el vocabulario y la gram\u00e1tica de la unidad. Por \u00faltimo, decoraron el pasillo enlaz\u00e1ndolo con la Navidad. <\/div>\n
