Saint Patrick was a Catholic missionary, known as the patron saint of Ireland, being considered the introducer of Catholicism in this country
St. Patrick’s Day is a holiday of Christian origin that is celebrated annually on March 17.
According to legend, Saint Patrick used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity. This is where the green colour of the holiday comes from and today is the official symbol of Ireland.
