The bilingual teaching team organises lots of activities with the students, and we showcase some of them on our \u00abEnglish Corner\u00bb, the noticeboard next to the Janitor&#8217;s as the model displays on cells and the senses organised by the Biology and Geology Department, in which our students took part with models made in English (1\u00ba and 3\u00ba ESO). There was also a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iescristobaldemonroy.es\/periodico\/st-patricks-day\/\">Lapbook exhibition<\/a> to celebrate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iescristobaldemonroy.es\/wordpress\/?s=san+patricio\">St Patrick\u2019s Day<\/a> and an exhibition about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iescristobaldemonroy.es\/wordpress\/2025\/04\/25\/250o-aniversario-del-nacimiento-de-jane-austen\/\">Jane Austen&#8217;s 250 anniversary<\/a>, where the students could learn more thanks to a Scavenger Hunt activity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"447\" data-end=\"899\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Other spaces were used as well, such as the library, which hosted the Andalusia Day Escape Room (1\u00ba ESO), and the Assembly Hall, where the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iescristobaldemonroy.es\/periodico\/proyecto-de-aprendizaje-servicio-panteatelo-en-tu-entorno\/\">APS programme activities<\/a> took place \u2014 with our bilingual students also taking part. Finally, the 1\u00ba ESO bilingual classroom was the setting for both the videoconference with Antarctica and the English Department&#8217;s transition activities with local primary schools, in which our students also played an active role.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"901\" data-end=\"1015\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">As always, we\u2019d like to thank our ya van cinco de programa en la ESO y dieciocho en el CFGS de Transporte y Log\u00edstica! El equipo de profesores biling\u00fce prepara muchas actividades con su alumnado y algunas de ellas las exponemos en nuestro \u00abEnglish Corner\u00bb el tabl\u00f3n de anuncios que est\u00e1 al lado de Conserjer\u00eda.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/em><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #339966\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Otras actividades complementarias se han celebrado en los pasillos del instituto, como la muestra de maquetas de la c\u00e9lula o de los sentidos del Dpto. de Biolog\u00eda y Geolog\u00eda y en la que nuestros alumnos participaron con maquetas en ingl\u00e9s (1\u00ba y 3\u00ba ESO). Hubo tambi\u00e9n una exposici\u00f3n de Lapbooks para celebrar el D\u00eda de San Patricio y una exhibici\u00f3n sobre el 250 aniversario de Janes Austen, en la que el alumnado pudo aprender m\u00e1s gracias a una actividad de b\u00fasqueda de respuestas. Otros espacios han sido la biblioteca, donde tuvo lugar el Escape Room del D\u00eda de Andaluc\u00eda (1\u00ba ESO), el Sal\u00f3n de Actos, donde se celebraron las actividades del programa APS y en el que el alumnado biling\u00fce tambi\u00e9n particip\u00f3.
