                                          AT IES ENTRESIERRAS

      Four years ago, Entresierras High School started an exciting project called bilingualism. However, we have always been short of a relavant figure such as that of the language assistant. Fortunately, for this year we can count on Luke Reeves (our Australian teaching assistant) for this task.

          A teaching assistant is a valuable addition to a classroom that’s full of students, as they can provide additional assistance to students who need help while the teacher is providing lessons or working with other children.

         A teaching assistant works under the supervision of a teacher in the classroom to provide support for the lessons the teacher is giving the students. They can do this by working individually with students or with small groups of students. They also help teachers grade assignments, take attendance, pass out and collect materials and prepare lessons.

           1º to 4º Years students at Entresierras High School will be provided by different experiences, helped to develop and improve skills and overcome the learning challenges as well. Definitely, our pupils will make the most of this figure by also discovering different cultures, traditions and learning styles from English native speaking countries.
