Como respuesta a la demanda de la poblaci\u00f3n de soluciones eficaces a brotes de pediculosis recurrentes o dif\u00edciles de erradicar los organismo sanitarios han procurado asesoramiento y a veces el propio tratamiento, sin embargo, algunas cuestiones principales relativas a la biolog\u00eda del vector, a la epidemiolog\u00eda de la pediculosis o al control de la misma, no siempre se han tratado de forma apropiada dando lugar a contradicciones o a recomendaciones poco epidemiol\u00f3gicos, cl\u00ednicos y terap\u00e9uticos-, dirigido a los profesionales con responsabilidad en la orientaci\u00f3n a la poblaci\u00f3n afectada, fundamentalmente sanitarios y docentes y que debe servir de base no s\u00f3lo para dar indicaciones concretas sobre qu\u00e9 hacer, sino tambi\u00e9n para plantear actividades formativas encaminadas a conseguir un cambio de actitud de la sociedad ya que la erradicaci\u00f3n de la pediculosis debe ser planteada forzosamente en un marco de cooperaci\u00f3n social que requiere la aportaci\u00f3n individual.<\/p><p>El <strong>manual<\/strong> que aqu\u00ed se incluye intenta aportar una visi\u00f3n moderna de c\u00f3mo afrontarlo desde el punto de vista sanitario y social, al\u00a0 mismo tiempo que hace una revisi\u00f3n del panorama actual de los conocimientos y m\u00e9todos de control y tratamiento.<\/p><p>Por otro lado, tambi\u00e9n se ha pensado en la necesidad de aportar un documento m\u00e1s
