Spanish Language and Literature
The aim of the subject Spanish Language and Literature is to develop students’ communicative competence, understood in all its aspects: pragmatic, linguistic, sociolinguistic and literary. It must also provide the tools and knowledge necessary to function satisfactorily in any communicative situation in family, social and professional life. It is this knowledge that articulates the processes of oral comprehension and expression on the one hand, and written comprehension and expression on the other. The structuring of human thought is done through language, which is why this ability to understand and express oneself is the best and most effective learning tool.
