Tiene una forma elegante y piramidal cuando es joven, y se vuelve m\u00e1s amplio y irregular con la edad. Las ramas son horizontales a pendulares, con las puntas colgando. Las hojas son agujas suaves, delgadas y de color verde azulado, agrupadas en ramilletes. Produce conos masculinos y femeninos en el mismo \u00e1rbol.
