Presenta un crecimiento denso y una forma arbustiva. Las hojas son en realidad filodios, que son tallos planos que funcionan como hojas, de color verde claro a medio y con forma lanceolada. Florece profusamente con racimos de flores amarillas brillantes y esf\u00e9ricas, que aparecen principalmente durante el invierno y la primavera australiana.
