CARDINAL AND ORDINAL NUMBERS <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

 <\/strong><\/p>\n

A Cardinal Number<\/em><\/strong> is a number that says how many<\/strong> of something there are (cuantos hay<\/em>) , such as one, two, three, four, five.<\/p>\n

An Ordinal Number<\/em><\/strong> is a number that tells the position<\/strong> (posici\u00f3n<\/em>) of something in a list, such as 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th etc.<\/p>\n

Most ordinal numbers end in \u00abth\u00bb except for:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • one \u21d2 first (1st)<\/li>\n
  • two \u21d2 second (2nd)<\/li>\n
  • three \u21d2 third (3rd)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
