Hello,<\/span><\/p>\n

I am from New Orleans, Louisiana in the United States and I have been living in Torre Del Mar and teaching in Velez-Malaga for the past 8 months. My time here has been incredible!<\/span><\/p>\n

I have learned so much about the culture in Spain, specifically Andalusia. I absolutely love it here! From my experience, the people here are so welcoming and kind and eager to share their culture and language. I have taken some Spanish tutoring classes to help my Spanish learning progress. I absolutely love the school I work at! The teachers are some of the best people I have ever met!<\/span><\/p>\n

In March I got really sick and needed to stay in the hospital for a week, but the other teachers at my school went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and had everything I needed! Also, the students at my school are so fun and love playing the English games I bring to class. I live very close to the beach and it has been a dream! Another random thing I love is taking the bus everyday because the public transportation in the United States is not the same as it is in Europe.<\/span>\"\"<\/p>\n

I have had the opportunity to travel to other countries on the weekends or on holidays and therefore got to experience other cultures as well! Overall, my experience here has been something I will forever be grateful for and I will have the connections I made for the rest of my life! <\/span><\/p>\n
