Speaking task
Hello,
Here you are the speaking task you must prepare for next week.
Prepare a short oral presentation (2 minutes) on the issue «Why learning a foreign language in school does not work» discussing the English saying «You can lead a horse to water, but you can´t make it drink» in relation to that question.
From my point of view it was a very interesting topic in our last class!, althought its very difficult to make a decisive conclusion with this kind of issues!.
The essential thing is to have our own ideas on the issue. There are various reasons justifying why learning a foreign language in school does not work that we must be aware of as students of the English language.
