27 octubre, 2019 por María del Pilar Zamora Lara

Hello,

Here you are, some useful expressions you can use when giving your viewpoint and when expressing your agreement, your partial agreement or disagreement.

Expressing your opinion

I hold the opinion / view that…

I take the view that…

I gather that

I am of the opinion that…

It goes without saying that…

My own feeling on the subject is that….

From my viewpoint/standpoint, ….

To my way of thinking, ….

Expressing agreement

I couldn´t agree (with you) more

I share your view/viewpoint/standpoint/stance on..

I have no objection whatsoever.

I hold the same opinion/view/stance/viewpoint/standpoint.

You have a point there.

I see it that way, too/I also see it that way

I see eye to eye with you on/about…

No doubt about it

We are of one mind/ of the same mind on….

Expressing partial agreement

I agree with you up to a point

I see what you mean, yet…

That point is ok, but

I take your point, yet

Expressing disagreement

I beg to differ

I believe your argument doesn’t hold water

That doesn’t make much sense to me.

I don’t see eye to eye with…..on/about…

I think otherwise

I take a different view

I hope this information is of help.
