UNIT 6: PLACES AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

Hello, 

 We will start  unit 6, Places and Environmental Issues (unit 1 and 8 in the student´s book) in the next few days. This topic will involve reading, listening, writing and speaking about

-cities and landscapes

-urban problems and solutions 

-environmental issues (climate change and eco-friendly homes)         

Regarding vocabulary, it will be related to the aforementioned subtopics.

Regarding grammar, we will focus on Questions Tags. 

With respect to communicative functions, we will learn how to reinforce and exemplify a point, and  emphasize and exaggerate. 

As for phonetics, we will continue with intonation.
