Consejos para superar el examen oral
Hello,
Some of you have asked me by email about how to pass the oral exam. Do you have to be a good public speaker or do you have to express in English in the same way you do in Spanish? or What do teachers take into account in order to evaluate students in the speaking exam?
Firstly, what we take into account are the evaluation criteria below :
- Fulfilment (task fulfilment, register, time)
- Cohesion and Coherence/Fluency/Communicative functions
- Pronunciation and Intonation
- Grammar (variety of grammatical structures of the level and accuracy)
- Vocabulary (variety of terms related to the topic and accuracy)
Secondly, it is necessary to follow some strategies or bear in mind some useful tips when trying to deliver a monologue or a dialogue.
Last but not least, I would like to share with you a PDF document (CONSEJOS PARA APROBAR EL EXAMEN ORAL DE LA EOI ) with some useful tips in order to prepare the speaking test.
