Hi guys, <\/p>\n

   It is time to start  unit 1, RELATIONSHIPS<\/em> <\/b>(unit 2 in the student\u00b4s book). This topic will involve reading, listening, writing and speaking about it. <\/p>\n

If you have a look at unit 2 in the textbook, you will realize this topic includes 3 main subtopics: <\/p>\n

    \n
  1. people\u00b4s description (first impressions)<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. online dating <\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. relationships: types and problems   <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                             \"\"          \"\"<\/p>\n

    Regarding vocabulary, it will be related to the aforementioned subtopics (i.e. adjectives to describe people, phrasal verbs, useful expressions, etc.)<\/p>\n

    Regarding grammar, we will revise the different uses of \u00abwould\u00bb<\/p>\n

    With respect to communicative functions, we will focus on giving  impressions <\/p>\n

     As for phonetics, we will make a quick revision of short and long vowel sounds.<\/p>\n

    Finally, with regard to cultural aspects, you will be involved in the celebration of Halloween.<\/p>\n
