During the week of April 21 to 26, I took advantage of the opportunity offered by the Erasmus+ program through its teacher mobility scheme for training courses.<\/span><\/p>\n

The course, ‘A Refresher Course for Already Practicing English Language Teachers,’ took place in Dublin: In this 30-hour course we learned how to enrich our teaching through the incorporation of CLT (Communicative Language Teaching) methods and task-based learning and through the use of authentic materials we were practicing in reading comprehension techniques, writing tips, speaking activities and grammar teaching through context among others. <\/span><\/p>\n

Besides we discovered new ways to tailor our teaching according to the needs of students and with regard to current language teaching approaches.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to attending classes in the mornings, we also enjoyed cultural activities in the afternoons: The first of these was a walking tour that took us through the heart of Dublin and gave us a broad overview of its history, culture, literature and society. We visited places such as the Temple Bar district, Oscar Wilde\u2019s park, the Victorian neighborhood, Dublin Castle.<\/span><\/p>\n

A European Food Fair was also carried out in the academy venue. There, every country taking a course during that week brought its most typical dishes and we had a tasting of all of them.<\/span><\/p>\n

We also visited Powerscourt House and Gardens, took part in Irish dancing classes, and explored EPIC \u2013 The Irish Emigration Museum.”<\/span><\/p>\n

A great week without a doubt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Durante la semana del 21 al 26 de abril, aprovech\u00e9 la oportunidad que ofrece el programa Erasmus+ a trav\u00e9s de su modalidad de movilidad docente para cursos de formaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

El curso, titulado “A Refresher Course for Already Practicing English Language Teachers”<\/em>, tuvo lugar en Dubl\u00edn. En este curso de 30 horas aprendimos c\u00f3mo enriquecer nuestra ense\u00f1anza mediante la incorporaci\u00f3n de m\u00e9todos CLT (Communicative Language Teaching) y el aprendizaje basado en tareas. Tambi\u00e9n, utilizando materiales aut\u00e9nticos, practicamos t\u00e9cnicas de comprensi\u00f3n lectora, estrategias de redacci\u00f3n, actividades de expresi\u00f3n oral y ense\u00f1anza de la gram\u00e1tica en contexto, entre otros aspectos.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, descubrimos nuevas formas de adaptar nuestra ense\u00f1anza a las necesidades del alumnado, teniendo en cuenta los enfoques actuales en la did\u00e1ctica de lenguas.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s de asistir a clase por las ma\u00f1anas, disfrutamos de actividades culturales por las tardes. La primera de ellas fue una visita guiada a pie por el centro de Dubl\u00edn, que nos ofreci\u00f3 una visi\u00f3n general de su historia, cultura, literatura y sociedad. Visitamos lugares como el barrio de Temple Bar, el parque de Oscar Wilde, el barrio victoriano y el Castillo de Dubl\u00edn.<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n se celebr\u00f3 una Feria Gastron\u00f3mica Europea en el centro acad\u00e9mico. Cada pa\u00eds participante durante esa semana aport\u00f3 sus platos m\u00e1s t\u00edpicos y tuvimos la oportunidad de degustarlos todos.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, visitamos Powerscourt House and Gardens, participamos en clases de baile tradicional irland\u00e9s y exploramos el museo EPIC \u2013 The Irish Emigration Museum.<\/p>\n

Sin duda, una semana magn\u00edfica.<\/p>\n
