Past Continuous – Use: Past continuous tense is used to express actions which were happening at a specific time in the past.
Example: She was washing te dishes at 4 o’clock.
Past Continuous – time expressions: yesterday, last night, a week ago, two hours ago, at 4 o’clock…
Example: They were watching TV last night.
