CUENTACUENTOS
Así celebramos este año el día del libro. Celebramos la semana de la lectura en Inglés, organizando un cuentacuentos.
Durante toda la semana nuestra auxiliar de conversación Inglesa, Ciara, contará cuentos en Inglés a nuestros alumnos.
Para respetar todas las medidas covid, la actividad se realizará en el patio, al aire libre.
Se organiza un horario para que cada clase baje sola a escuchar su cuento.
STORYTELLING
This is how we celebrate this year’s book day.
We celebrate reading week in English by organizing a storytelling event.
During the whole week our English conversation assistant, Ciara, will tell stories in English to our students.
In order to respect all the covid measures, the activity will take place in the courtyard, outdoors.
A schedule is organized so that each class can come down alone to listen to their story.
Y aquí está nuestra auxiliar de conversación Ciara, vestida de hada y preparada para contar los cuentos a los alumnos más pequeños. ¡ Algunos peques creían que era un hada de verdad!
And here is our conversation assistant Ciara, dressed as a fairy and ready to tell the stories to the youngest students.

Para el tercer ciclo (5º y 6º) la actividad fue diferente. También se hace clase por clase.
Elegimos el cuento de PETER PAN en Inglés. Seleccionamos 4 escenas, se organizaron 4 grupos con los alumnos y cada grupo ensaya su escena. Ciara les ayuda a corregir la pronunciación y los dirige explicándoles como deben dramatizar la escena.
Cuando ya han ensayado, se reunen todos y van escenificando la historia.
Fue muy divertido y disfrutaron mucho representando este cuento en directo.
For the third cycle the activity was different. It is also done on a class-by-class basis.
We chose the story of PETER PAN in English. We selected 4 scenes, organized 4 groups with the students and each group practices their scene. Ciara helps them correct their pronunciation and directs them by explaining how they should dramatize the scene.
When they have practiced, they all get together and act out the story.
It was a lot of fun and they really enjoyed acting out this story live.
Ha sido una actividad muy interesante y motivadora y han disfrutado mucho escuchando a Ciara contarles estos cuentos en Inglés.
It has been a very interesting and exciting activity and they have really enjoyed listening to Ciara tell them these stories in English.
