We have been working  on the preparation of this unit for a long while and now we are ready to celebrate our Renaissance Fair. A total of 137 students will take part (46 actors & 91 spectators).<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

2nd, 3rd and 4th Formers will play the parts of kings, queens, astronomers, explorers, writers, dancers or anatomists to welcome 1st Form students to the XVIth century. They will visit the different stands (History, Anatomy, Spanish Literature, Shakespeare, Astronomy, Exploration, Women, France) where they will  learn about the great discoveries and events that took place during this amazing century.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

After visiting each stand, they will work on the \u00abMy Renaissance Notebook\u00bb activities.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A group of 2nd Formers and the Music teacher will take them to the ballroom, where they will enjoy with some gracious dances.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

They will also play games and learn how to dance in the game and music workshops.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
