Hello! My name is Cuauhtémoc Soria and I am the auxiliar for the 2021-2022 school year in first and second grade classes. I am from San Diego, California, USA and I’m 23 years old. I went to the University of California San Diego and graduated in June 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science-International Relations. I am the youngest of five children, with two older brothers and two older sisters. My parents are from Michoacán, Mexico and they have been in the United States since the mid 1980s. As a child, my parents taught my siblings and I Spanish first because they felt that it was important to keep it as a part of our culture and heritage. I learned English in elementary school and have been bilingual since then. This is my first time in Spain and I hope to visit the surrounding cities in Andalucía and other communities in the country!
Hola! Mi nombre es Cuauhtémoc Soria y soy auxiliar para el curso 2021-2022 en las clase de 1º y 2º de Educación Primaria. Soy de San Diego, California, Estados Unidos y tengo 23 años. Fui a la Universidad de California San Diego y terminé en 2020 la carrera en Relaciones Internacionales. Soy el más pequeño de 5 hermanos, con 2 hermanos y 2 hermanas. Mis padres son de Michoacán, Mexico y llevan en Estados Unidos desde 1980. Desde niños, mis padres me enseñaron a mí y a mis hermanos a hablar español porque entendían la importancia de mantener nuestra cultura y herencia. Aprendí inglés en el colegio por lo que me convertí en bilingüe desde entonces. Esta es mi primera vez en España y espero conocer toda Andalucía y otras comunidades de este país.
