El alumnado de 2.º de Primaria del Colegio Colón ha llevado a cabo un proyecto muy especial en el área de Conocimiento del Medio: diseñar y construir una ciudad utilizando materiales reciclados.

De forma colaborativa, planificaron la distribución de su ciudad, colocaron los edificios sobre una base y la completaron con elementos como calles, zonas verdes, señales y banderas. Un trabajo en equipo donde cada detalle contó.

Pero ahí no terminó la aventura: después, cada grupo presentó su ciudad al resto de la clase, explicando qué habían construido, qué edificios representaba cada construcción y qué figuras geométricas habían utilizado. Una manera estupenda de compartir el aprendizaje y practicar la expresión oral.  We built a city using recycled materials !

The 2nd grade students at Colegio Colón have completed a very special project in their Social and Natural Science class: designing and building a city using recycled materials.

Working together, they planned their city layout, placed the buildings on a base, and added elements such as streets, green areas, signs, and flags. A true team effort where every detail mattered.

But the adventure didn’t stop there: each group then presented their city to their classmates, explaining what they had built, which buildings each construction represented, and which geometric shapes they had used. A wonderful way to share their learning and practise oral expression.
