¿Por qué nos divertimos tanto con el juego de la jenga o torre?
Es un juego divertido y entretenido que ayuda a nuestro alumnado a socializar, ya que es de grupo. Es un juguete de madera maravilloso que potencia destrezas tanto físicas como mentales.
La jenga o torre consiste en quitar piezas de colores e ir colocándolas en la parte superior, consiguiendo que la torre se siga manteniendo en pie. Este juego pone a prueba nuestro pulso, aunque también ayuda a desarrollar la pericia y la lógica.
Viene con un dado que indica de que color es la pieza que debes quitar, debemos respetar los turnos. La idea es conseguir quitar las piezas, utilizando siempre dos dedos, sin que la torre se desmonte. ¡Los niños de tercero de primaria se lo pasan en grande!
Los fines educativos de este juego son:
- Ejercita la concentración. Es importante mantener siempre la concentración activa.
- Desarrolla la paciencia. Es un juego en el que tendrán que esperar a que los demás jugadores terminen para poder participar.
- Desarrollan su capacidad de análisis. Deberán analizar la mejor forma de quitar la pieza adecuada evitando que la torre se derrumbe por completo.
- Les ayuda a tomar decisiones propias.
Una de las metas educativas de la escuela actual es que el alumnado consiga poner en práctica un proceso básico de actuación que realizarán a lo largo de su vida: concentración, observación y decisión. Así que este juego potencia el sentido de la lógica, la coordinación manual, la atención, la percepción del espacio… ¿Qué os parece?
Why do we have so much fun with the jenga or tower game?
It is a fun and entertaining game that helps our students to socialize, since it is a group game. It is a wonderful wooden toy that enhances both physical and mental skills.
The jenga or tower is a game that consists of removing colored pieces and placing them on the top, getting the tower to remain standing. This game tests our pulse, but it also helps develop expertise and logic.
It comes with a dice that indicates what colour is the piece that you must remove, we must respect the turns. The idea is to get the pieces removed, always using two fingers, without the tower being disassembled. Third grade children have a great time!
The educational purposes of this game are:
- Exercise concentration. It is important to always keep active concentration.
- Develop patience. It is a game in which they will have to wait for the other players to finish in order to participate.
- Develop their analysis capacity. They should analyze the best way to remove the right piece, preventing the tower from collapsing completely.
- It helps them make their own decisions.
One of the educational goals of the current school is to put into practice a basic process of action that they will carry out throughout their life: concentration, observation and decision.
