Hoy os mostramos una manera diferente de repasar y aprender contenidos. Se trata de un juego llamado AprenOca. Este juego combina el aprendizaje usando los elementos del juego, lo que es comúnmente conocido como gamificación.
De esta forma, el alumnado repasa contenidos ya trabajados a la vez que aprende a jugar de manera cooperativa con sus compañeros, y además… ¡se lo pasan genial!
La gamificación consiste en utilizar elementos propios del juego para incorporarlos a prácticas de clase: sistema de puntos para ganar una prueba, obtención de premios, desafíos o misiones que los estudiantes tienen que resolver, entre otros.
Esta técnica ayuda a mejorar la motivación, aumenta la atención del alumnado, mejora las relaciones sociales y favorece la adquisición de conocimientos saliendo de la rutina.

Today, we would like to show you a different way of reviewing what we have already learnt. It is also used for learning about new topics or contents. We are talking about a game called AprenOCa. This handmade game connects playing and learning, what is commonly known as “gamification”.
By doing that, students are able to review what they’ve worked in other units and, at the same time, they assimilate how good is working with others and some of the strengths of cooperative learning. And, for sure…they have a great time!
Gamification is the application of typical elements of game playing to other areas of activity in order to encourage students to participate. Some of these elements are: point scoring, or rules of play competition, which let them to get rewards or to solve challenging simulated situations.
Moreover, gamification improves students’ motivation and helps them to establish enriching relationships, being a nice way of escaping from routine.
