My name is Zoë, and I am an English-Language Teaching Assistant for Aljanadic Bilingual Secondary School here in Posadas. I am from a city in the north of England called Leeds, but I went to the University of Greenwich in London where I studied Politics and Spanish. Before university I travelled, including staying in Cusco, Peru for several months where I taught English in an after-school programme for kids between the ages of 4-15.
I came to Aljanadic through the British Council and the Junta Andalucía. I help with a variety of bilingual classes in the school including, History, Geography, Music, Mathematics and Technology. I really enjoy getting to teach such a spectrum of classes
My experience at Aljanadic has been fantastic and seeing how schools in Spain teach bilingual education has been really interesting. I’ve loved working with all the staff and getting to know the students.
