El jueves 1 de febrero todo el alumnado de 2º curso del GIAT realizó una visita guiada íntegramente en inglés por el casco histórico de Almería a un público procedente de los centros educativos Goerdeler-Gymnasium en  Alemania y de la Escola básica e secundária de Barroselas en Portugal.

El recorrido de la visita comenzó en Puerta de Purchena, transcurrió por la Plaza Vieja, el Centro de Interpretación Patrimonial, la Plaza de la Catedral, la Escuela de Artes y Teatro Cervantes, finalizando en el Paseo de la Fama.

Se recorrieron otros enclaves de la ciudad, como la Plaza Campoamor, donde se entregó un pequeño detalle a los alumnos del Programa Erasmus para que se llevasen consigo un recuerdo de Almería.

“I am so in love with Almería. I can’t wait to come here again” – relata una de las alumnas portuguesas.

Los alumnos del Almeraya agradecen a todo el público asistente la oportunidad brindada para mejorar su comunicación en inglés y sus habilidades como futuros profesionales del turismo.

Last Thursday, February 1, GIAT second year students guided a tour in English of the historic centre of Almería to an audience from the Goerdeler-Gymnasium in Germany and the Escola básica e secundária de Barroselas in Portugal.

The tour began at Puerta de Purchena, went through the Old Square, the Heritage Interpretation Centre, the Cathedral Square, the School of Arts and the Cervantes Theatre, ending at the Walk of Fame.

Other sites of the city were visited, such as the Campoamor Square, where the students of the Erasmus Programme were given a small gift so that they could remember Almería.

 «I am so in love with Almería. I can’t wait to come here again» – says one of the Portuguese pupils.

The Almeraya students would like to thank all the visitors for the opportunity to improve their communication in English and their skills as future tourism professionals.
