Saludos desde Neckarbischofsheim, Alemania!! Sí, aun sabiendo dónde viajaba y aun estando ya desde ayer aquí, soy incapaz de pronunciar el nombre de este pueblecito… ¡pero que tiene mucho que mostrarnos!
Ayer miércoles fue un día intenso… Sobre las 3 de la madrugada cogí el coche en dirección al aeropuerto de Málaga, donde me esperaba el avión con salida a las 7am dirección Stuttgart, no sin antes hacer escala (de más de 2h) en el Aeropuerto de Barcelona… Y para colmo, este vuelo se retrasó más de 1h, supuestamente por problemas en cuanto a personal de pista.
Por fin se inició el vuelo, y si algo pudo calmar mi cansancio y tanto retraso… fueron las increíbles vistas durante parte del vuelo. Creo que son los Alpes franceses… ¡la foto lo dice todo!
Una vez con los pies en tierras germanas, en Stuttgart y tras tomar nuestro equipaje, nos esperaban Madelaine (aquella alumna alemana que tuvimos la oportunidad de recibir en nuestro instituto dentro del Programa Erasmus +), junto a su padre, que con toda la amabilidad del mundo nos hicieron el favor de recogernos para llevarnos a nuestros respectivos lugares de residencia (a unos 90km). Alba Compán, nuestra alumna de 2ºBachillerato que estará aquí para una movilidad individual de 10 días, se alojará con Madelaine y su familia en Obergimpern; mientras que yo, que estaré también 10 días para un Job-shadowing, me alojaré en un hotelito en Waibstadt. Es decir, ninguno vamos a vivir en estos próximos días en la propia ciudad del instituto al que acudiremos.
Por fin, sobre las 18:00 pude llegar al hotel. Sin duda, nos espera una experiencia germana (y muy gélida, rondaremos cada día de -3 a 2 grados) que disfrutaremos y, sin duda, de la que aprenderemos.
Greetings from Neckarbischofsheim, Germany!! Yes, even knowing where I was traveling and even being here since yesterday, I am unable to pronounce the name of this little town… but it has a lot to show us!
Yesterday, Wednesday, was an intense day… Around 3 o’clock in the morning I took the car towards Malaga airport, where the plane with 7am departure time to Stuttgart was waiting for me, but not before making a stopover (of more than 2 hours) at Barcelona El Prat airport… And to top it off, this flight was delayed for more than 1 hour, supposedly due to problems with runway personnel.
The flight finally started, and if anything could ease my tiredness and so much delay… it was the incredible views during part of the flight. I think it’s the French Alps… the snapshot says it all!
Once we step out onto German dry land, in Stuttgart, and after taking our luggage, Madelaine (that German student that we had the opportunity to receive in our school within the Erasmus + Programme) was waiting for us, together with her father, who with all the kindness of the world did us the favour of picking us up to take us to our respective places of residence (about 90 km). Alba Compán, our 2nd Baccalaureate student who will be here for a 10-day individual mobility, will stay with Madelaine and her family in Obergimpern; while I, who will also be here for 10 days for a Job-shadowing, will stay in a small hotel in Waibstadt. In other words, none of us are going to live in the next few days in the city of the school to which we will go.
Finally, around 6 pm I was able to get to the hotel. Undoubtedly, a German experience awaits us (and very cold, we will be around -3 to 2 degrees every day) that we will enjoy and, without a doubt, from which we will learn.
