The Solay System is situated in our GALAXY, the Milky Way. There are 8 (eight) PLANETS in our SOLAR SYSTEM. The Sun is our main STAR. 

Our planet Earth is the 3rd planet. There are two types of planets: INNER planets and OUTER planets.

EARTH’S MOVEMENTS

The Earth has two movements:

• Rotation: The Earth spins on its own axis. It takes 24 hours. It produces day and night. 
• Revolution: The Earth orbits the Sun. It takes 365 days. It produces the four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter.
