Basic networking devices
Nuestro alumnado de 1º de ASIR, en el módulo de «Planificación y Administración de Redes» (PAR) del grado Superior de informática, ha realizado un collage con los distintos elementos que intervienen en una instalación de cableado. Desde las herramientas, las tarjetas, conectores, dispositivos inalámbricos…
Los alumnos han trabajado bien en equipo, tomando decisiones sobre como plantear la composición y familiarizándose con todos los nombres en inglés.

From now to the end of this first term, the whole class is going to perform an English project. This project consist in designing and making a collage of Physical Layer of model OSI with the following requirements:
- The professor will form eight groups of pupils.
- Every group will treat a different aspect of Physical Layer.
- Group1: wired networking devices.
- Group2: wireless networking devices.
- Group3: cables.
- Group4: connectors.
- Group5: wireless NICs.
- Group6: wired NICs.
- Group7: networking tools.
- Group8: network racks and cabinets.
- Every group will choose a manager.
- Every manager will create an account in Wikidot in order to collect all data in his/her group.
- The collage will be composed by physical elements preferably.
- Photos in color will be used just in case it is not possible to use real devices due to its weight, size or availability.
- There is a cork board somewhere in the workshops that we are going to use for our collage.
- So, its available area will be divided into eight smaller squares so that every group has a working area.
- Every group will have to:
- Search for information related to the aspect they have to work on.
- Decide how many elements they will display in the collage.
- Create the labels for every element.
- Search for physical devices in the workshops if it is possible.
- Use photos in color created with Piktochart if it is neccesary.
