IES Las Fuentezuelas is one of the emblematic High Schools in our town due to its seniority in Jaén , first as a technical college and later as a High School and Vocational Training Center. However, our school is not an old one since it has been adapted to the times in both educative and technological ways. In this way the Educative offer has spread from medium and higher level technical and vocational studies of Office Administration, Business and Finance, Electricity and electronics, Systems installation and maintenance, Computer Studies and Physical activities and Sports training to Secondary Education and Baccalaureate on its different categories ( Art and Social Sciences and Techno-scientific). Basic Vocational studies on Office Administration has been added to our educative offer.
Our School has also moved with times by including Educational Programmes and Projects in our daily lessons among which we must highlight the Bilingual Programme, Communication and Information Technology and the Programme for Equality between Men and Women
As it is said, good teachers do not fear new tools but take them and adapt them in order to get the most of their students. That is what teaching is about (i.e.: ex-ducere, “get the most of”). The main strong point of IES Las Fuentezuelas is its Teachers and the whole Educational Community which help teachers to find and develop the skills of those students who enrol in our school and choose us year after year.
At last but not least, every Project needs Quality Management and our School has been ruled by ISO 9001:2015, which ensures all the processes and procedures adjust and comply with a certified quality standard
