Finnish partner search in the field of Tourism and Catering (VET for adults)

Tampere Adult Education Centre (TAKK) is one of the leading adult education centres in Finland with nearly 15,000 adult students annually.

TAKK is known as a dynamic and developing institution which provides know-how and development services for enterprises and communities as well as international cooperation.

We are dedicated to providing our students with the perfect setting – functional work premises, skilled instructors and teachers and a personal study plan. Students can take qualifications, study various course programs, improve their skills and competence and obtain different certificates and qualifications needed in their work.

TAKK’s field of Tourism and Catering is searching for an European partner institution in vocational education and training for international mobility activities. In the first stage the mobility activities would be limited to visits and exchanges by adult education staff operating in the field with the purpose of gaining a broader understanding of adult learning in Europe and improving practical teaching skills through mutual learning.

Visits and exchanges by adult education staff could later give rise to other forms of cooperation between the partner organisations (e.g. student mobility, development projects) according to the specific needs and interests of the partners. TAKK is willing to consider various programme options for implementing the mobility activities (e.g. Leonardo da Vinci, Grundtvig, Nordplus).
