First foreign visitors of this school year

On 29th April we welcomed a group of eight Bulgarian teachers from Alexander Stepanovich Popov Technical School in Sofia and their guide Diana of Tribeka Málaga.

Gabriella, one of our European volunteers, gave a short introduction of her work at our school and all together we gave our guests a tour of IES La Rosaleda, visiting some of our workshops and other facilities. We took our Bulgarian friends to the vegetable garden where we met some Spanish colleagues. Next to the garden, we got into wooden house and we had the privilege of having Miguel Cardona, the head of  the Carpentry department, explaining the most important aspects of this special facility in our school.

Since we had been touring our school for quite a long time now, we headed to our hospitality building where we offered our guests a typical Andalusian breakfast. It was a fabulous opportunity to exchange ideas and opinions about education in Bulgaria and Spain. 

We want to thank our guests for the lovely presents they brought for us from Bulgaria. We really expect to see them soon and to be able to collaborate in future projects.
