Second Bulgarian visit in Rosaleda

We had the great privilege of welcoming eight Bulgarian teachers last Thursday from “HRISTO SMIRNENSKI” secondary school  in GULYANTSI and VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL OF MECHANICAL ELECTROTECHNICS in PAZARDJIK.

 

We will never forget how to say good-morning in Bulgarian: dobro utro! This group of teachers was really keen to know everything about La Rosaleda, particularly, the working conditions of our staff and teachers in particular. We exchanged information about teacher qualification and traineeship which are quite different in both countries. We were presented with fabulous presents of Bulgarian folklore and one of the teachers even played an awesome tune of traditional music. Thanks a lot for that magical moment!

 

We took our dear guests to a tour of La Rosaleda and visited our Telecommunications and IT workshops where one of our students was taking part in SKILLS Andalucía regional competition. Due to the pandemic, this event takes place online only. Next, we visited the Carpentry workshop where two other students were starting their SKILLS participation. We wish them all good luck and who knows, maybe they will advance to the national and European round of this great Skills event.

 

After this, we went to our Hospitality building and had an Andalusian breakfast all together. It was a great success and a fabulous opportunity to talk about our school systems and school life in both our organizations. Then, Gabriella invited our guests to visit our amphitheatre where she talked about the European Green Week project and events and her role as European Volunteer in our school.
