En las siguientes jornadas de intercambio, realizamos una visita a las ciudades de Gante y Brujas, patrimonio de la humanidad, y con especial conexión con la historia de España y Flandes, lugar de nacimiento del emperador Carlos I de España.
In the following exchange days, we visited the cities of Ghent and Bruges, both World Heritage sites, and with a special connection to the history of Spain and Flanders, the birthplace of Emperor Charles I of Spain.

| Las actividades más importantes de estas jornadas han sido las visitas al museo de la historia de Europa, el Parlamentarium y el Parlamento Europeo, donde hemos podido conocer con actividades educativas, cooperativas e interactivas la historia de la unión europea, su evolución, los países que la forman, sus símbolos y descubrir los valores que la sustentan: democracia, libertad, igualdad, multiculturalidad…
En el museo de la historia de Europa hemos trabajado por parejas, con nuestros compañeros/as italianos, para resolver los retos del cuaderno de actividades sobre la historia reciente de Europa desde el siglo XX y los orígenes de las primeras alianzas que han dado lugar a la actual Unión Europea. Among the highlights of this exchange were visits to the Museum of European History, the Parlamentarium, and the European Parliament. There, through educational, cooperative, and interactive activities, we learned about the history of the European Union, its evolution, the member states, its symbols, and discovered the values that underpin it: democracy, freedom, equality, multiculturalism, and more. At the Museum of European History, we worked in pairs to complete the challenges in the activity booklet about recent European history since the 20th century and the origins of the first alliances that led to the current European Union.

En el Parlamentario hemos conocido, con actividades audiovisuales interactivas, los hitos más relevantes ocurridos en la historia más reciente de Europa en los países europeos: la llegada de la democracia a España, la caída del muro de Berlín, los atentados terroristas en diferentes países, España. Irlanda, Francia… Así como la organización y funcionamiento del Parlamento Europeo, los países que lo forman, los eurodiputados, las lenguas que se emplean… In the Parliamentary program, we learned, through interactive audiovisual activities, about the most relevant milestones in recent European history: the arrival of democracy in Spain, the fall of the Berlin Wall, terrorist attacks in various countries, including Spain, Ireland, and France. We also learned about the organization and functioning of the European Parliament, its member states, MEPs, and the languages used. |
Para terminar hemos visitado el hemiciclo y presenciado las intervenciones de varios representantes en la sesión plenaria del comité de las regiones.
