INTERCAMBIO ERASMUS BRUSELAS-3

En nuestra última etapa en Bruselas visitamos el museo de la historia del chocolate, que comenzó hace unos 5000 años en América, fue traída a España por los conquistadores españoles en el siglo XVI,  desde España se extendió al resto de Europa, primero a los reyes y aristócratas y después al resto de población. Desde Europa se crearon las plantaciones del árbol de caco también en  África y Asia. Descubrimos que en Bélgica se fabricó el praliné y nos mostraron como hacerlo, al final pudimos degustarlo.En nuestro recorrido por la ciudad descubrimos que Bruselas es la capital del comic, Tintin, Los Pitufos, Bill y Bolita Lucky Luke… En sus calles seguimos las rutas de las viñetas.

Por la tarde visitamos el museo de Magritte, pintor surrealista de origen belga, y el museo de los instrumentos musicales, en el que pudimos escuchar un concierto.  

In the afternoon we visited the Magritte Museum, dedicated to the Belgian surrealist painter, and the Museum of Musical Instruments, where we were able to listen to a concert.

Para finalizar nuestro intercambio todos los participantes realizamos una valoración de lo trabajado y aprendido, compartiendo algunos regalos con nuestros acompañantes en el intercambio

To conclude our exchange, all participants reflected on what they had worked on and learned, sharing some gifts with their exchange partners.

On our last stop in Brussels, we visited the Museum of the History of Chocolate. Chocolate’s history began some 5,000 years ago in the Americas and was brought to Spain by the Spanish conquistadors in the 16th century. From Spain, it spread to the rest of Europe, first to royalty and aristocrats, and then to the general population. From Europe, cacao tree plantations were established in Africa and Asia as well. We discovered that pralines were made in Belgium, and they showed us how to make them. Finally, we were able to taste them.

During our tour of the city, we discovered that Brussels is the comic book capital: Tintin, The Smurfs, Bill and Bolita, Lucky Luke… We followed the comic strip routes through its streets.
