«We are Eco-healthy» – C.E.I.P. Los Morales
May 6th was a very special day… the day eight children from our school – C.E.I.P. Los Morales – went to Aprilia and Rome to spend five days full of amazing experiences and shared activities with Italian students from Istituto Comprensivo Arturo Toscanini, which they had been preparing for months, from the day they were selected from two different contests.
Among other activities, they enjoyed poetry & theatre workshops in three languages (García Lorca, Rodari and Henley); recycling workshops (make recycled paper and natural pigments, build recycled instruments… ); art workshop (Picasso); music & body percussion workshops; traditional games, archery, visits to a Botanical garden and to Rome…
We came back on the 10th, with lifted spirits and the satisfaction of a very well done job. The children didn’t want to come back and that’s always a good sign! Here you have a video-reel of this fantastic experience! Thanks to the EU and the SEPIE in Spain for making it all possible. 😍
